Capcom tapped Ammirati and upcoming artists to create this new art-driven campaign promoting Super Streetfighter IV. Artists like Dalek, 123Klan, Futura, Cody Hudson and Grotesk! created game posters reflecting their own style.
According to a Capcom blog, the idea was inspired by a SSFIV producer, Ono-san, who had likened Street Fighter IV to art—its original promo videos and the game itself featured a range of artistic styles, from sumi-e to watercolor.
The new game's launch continued along that vein, asking artists to help tout the next title's new features, but in their own characteristic styles.
