American Greetings' Cardstore and Mullen teamed up to post a job for a "director of operations" online and in newspapers. 24 people applied -- and they were invited to a video interview that covered the requirements for the job. They were: standing up 24 hours a day, having degrees in medicine, finance and culinary arts, with no options for vacations or even time to sleep.
These people unequivocally said "hell, no" to doing a job like this. Only to know that there are people who do work like this, and they know plenty of them. Billions, in fact.
