Carl's Jr. and Hardee's: Finger Workouts

Flex those digits!

Editor's Pick

Adding to the what seems like an emerging trend in "digital" exercise, 72andSunny gets your fingers pumping with these delightfully silly banner ads for Carl's Jr. and Hardee's, to introduce the chains' new Charbroiled Turkey Burgers. Because the new offerings are lower in calories than the chains' beef selections, the banners show off how easy they are to burn off with a pair of challenges requiring only the use of your finger. Once players burn off all the calories, they earn a digital coupon for $1 off a Turkey Burger Combo.

The workouts will appear as banners on the Men's Health website, and on the brand's Facebook page.

According to 72andSunny digital creative Mick Dimaria, "Justin Hooper and I actually suggested the tie-in with Men's Health to CKE a year or two ago in order to add some male credibility to a product, which may not be seen as indulgent by our target or a proper fit with the Carl's Jr. and Hardee's brands."
