One of beer's longest-running slogans, "If Carlsberg Did...", has ben revived by the brand after a four-year break, with a campaign out of 72andSunny Amsterdam. The international spot imagines a supermarket experience done by Carlsberg -- a male fantasy paradise stocked not only with beer but also tools, cowboy hats, space helmets and reindeer heads. It will run in the U.K., both on TV and across online channels, as well as Ireland, Sweden, Denmark and several other markets.

The 'If Carlsberg Did.." campaign first ran in the 1970s and was the source of several award-winning commercials through Saatchi & Saatchi in the last decade, incuding Old Lions in 2006. It was dropped in 2011 in favour of new slogan "That calls for a Carlsberg."

Nic Owen, managing director at 72andSunny Amsterdam, said in a statement: "'If Carlsberg did... was a meme before memes existed and has remained as key internet parlance. We're super excited about making the most of it in a day and age it's perfectly suited for."
