The latest effort to motivate tweens to get off their presumably oversized butts and "Play for real," from Saatchi & Saatchi/New York and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Verb program, features an attack on no less a monolithic power than videogames. "Nothing replaces the exhilaration of physical activity," insists Saatchi CCO Tony Granger. "We want to capture this rush and encourage kids to cut loose and get out in the sunshine to play." Great sentiment; let's just hope these aren't mistaken for ads for new game titles like Haunted Stadium and Suicidal Dragon. Illustrations by GMD3, www.gmdthree.com.
