African Grey Toured Pet Stores in a Custom-Made Cage for Campaign for Czech Insurer Ceska Pojistovna

As in-store marketing goes, this is pretty awesome: Czech insurance brand Ceska Pojistovna and its agency Y&R Prague trained an African Grey parrot to say "pet insurance" to pet store customers.

The agency employed a professional Hollywood animal wrangler with experience coaching animals for Hollywood blockbusters as "Bourne Supremacy" and "The Illusionist."

After three months practice, Carl the parrot was taken went on a tour around major pet stores, in a custom-made cage with a built-in tablet and a pre-loaded landing page that prompted visitors to buy the insurance. And, the agency jokes, he literally got paid peanuts for being a pitch man.
