The recent 13th annual Woodward Dream Cruise, billed as the "world's largest one-day celebration of car culture," attracts more than one million visitors along with some 40,000 classic cars that drive a 16-mile route around the Detroit area. Classic car aficionados got quite a load of Chevy's Concept Volt, a plug-in hybrid that can be configured to run on electricity, gas, biodiesel or E85. The vinyl-corded 80x30-foot billboard allowed cruisers to "see the future," notes Campbell-Ewald CCO Bill Ludwig, who adds, in a reference to the past of another technology, "not only were people talking about" the board but it became a "Kodak moment to capture on that day."
