As all U.S. media scrambles for the best eclipse images, the design staff at the Chicago Sun-Times took the opportunity to go for a simple, but perfect front page today.

It's a great piece of design -- but elsewhere, images of the sun were somewhat "eclipsed" by another photo that quickly went viral online. That of Donald Trump viewing the eclipse from the White House -- without protective eyewear. Among the headlines was the New York Daily News's "Not too Bright," while Twitter was rife with jokes about climate change and fake news.
