Clarion Hotel: Room for Art

Art as currency.

Published on

Editor's Pick

Clarion Hotel Stockholm is taking on a tradition that originated at New York's currently shuttered Chelsea Hotel: artists can pay for their hotel stay with art. Starting last Friday (8th June), the hotel will accept one piece of art as a payment currency for one night's stay. The artist just needs to create their work on an International standard A4/Legal US paper, hand in the piece and get a room. Interested artists can find out more on the hotel's website.
