Today CNN.com's redesign went live, boasting a host of new features. Video now has a dominant presence on the formerly text-heavy site and a new "NewsPulse" section, currently in Beta, features real time news and video. The new site also further integrates iReports, features customizable reader profile pages as well as a weekly news trivia game "The CNN Challenge," hosted by the visitor's choice of CNN personalities.
Along with the redesign comes a handful of new media partnerships. The site's entertainment section will feature content from Entertainment Weekly and People, and CNN has partnered with TED to host the conference's TED talks. The news site also announced a new partnerhip with Oprah Winfrey, and will bring in Presidential Inauguration-style live audience feedback to the Oprah Book Club on November 9.
