It may look like a soda fountain, but in fact it serves up free mobile internet access. Ogilvy Brazil created this Coke machine with a difference at the Coca-Cola Concept Store on Copacabana beach, in Rio de Janeiro.
Instead of a cup, the consumer presses his phone against the tap to receive data credits for free internet navigation on a exclusive Coca-Cola mobile browser. This is particularly important for younger Brazilian consumers, as free wi-fi spots are not common, and most young people have pre-paid phones. The machine was co-created by three of Ogilvy's offices, in Sao Paulo, Rio and Recife.
