Coca-Cola Teams with Regal Entertainment for New 'Share a Coke' Promotion

Coca-Cola aims to spread more happiness to moviegoers with a new push that allows consumers to "Tweet" a free Coke to a friend at participating Regal Cinema outlets in the U.S. Users will have to connect their credit cards to Twitter, and for $5 they can eGift a Coke to their film-watching buddies.

The effort is a digital component of the current "Share a Coke" campaign, which has swapped out the Coca-Cola marque with 250 popular American names on 20 ounce bottles of the soda. The push also includes a Coca-Cola round-the-nation tuor during which fans can customize mini Coke cans with their names.
