Coke is backing the launch of a new 3D Printer that turns plastic PET bottles into "beautiful objects" --- with the help of none other than The Ekocycle Cube 3D Printer has been created out of a collaboration between 3D printer company 3D Systems, its chief creative officer -- who happens to be -- and Coca-Cola, which was already working with the singer on a recycling project called Ekocycle. Unlike other 3D printers, the Ekocycle Cube can print using PET plastic filament which is generated in part from discarded plastic bottles -- turning them into new products, be they necklaces or smartphone cases.
