Nonprofit IT association CompTIA tapped Indiana-based creative agency Bradley and Montgomery (BaM) to promote its new CertMaster certification offering. With the company looking to attract males in their early twenties, the BaM took a nostalgic approach. The result is this throwback commercial featuring nods to classic '90s video games. Here, a young man opts to boost his career by blazing through levels like he's Super Mario. Or Sonic the Hedgehog. Or Donkey Kong. The spot actually features 35 Easter eggs alluding to 27 different games, including those three, Brick Breaker and Tetris. CompTIA challenges viewers to spot all of the references.
