A music video of OK Go performing live in Brazil will feature contributions from fans via social media, in a project put together by Albion for tequila brand Cuervo.
The campaign, 'Cuervo Cold. A Quick Shot of Ice Cold', let fans place their Twitter avatars and Facebook profile pictures directly into a video of a pop-up performance by OK Go, which took place last week in Rio. The new video content will be created by pulling in the profile images of fans, and using them as pixels to build up the picture that will play out on screen. Fans who tweeted about the campaign with a hashtag (#shotcast) will also have their tweets pulled into the film together with their avatar.
A special live performance will be created from the images and broadcast online, with the final broadcast taking place tomorrow (24th November) at CuervoCold.com.. The website also allows fans to 'add a shot' of themselves to some of OK Go's existing videos.
According to Cuervo campaign is aimed at highlighting that while a shot of ice cold Cuervo doesn't last forever, while it does it's a unique physical and emotional sensation.
