To promote the launch of De Beers' Forevermark diamond brand in the U.S., AKQA developed an iPad app that aims to showcase the beauty and wonder of diamonds - from sourcing and cutting to buying.

Forevermark: The Promise centers around a 3D animated model of a diamond that refracts light, which the user can zoom in on. The app also takes the user through the journey of a Forevermark diamond from the mines to the jewelry designer using video, interactive content and photography. It provides information about different colours, sizes, cuts and quality standards of diamonds, giving users a chance to find out which one will suit them best.
