Deeplocal: Like Belt

Like by thrusting.

"Liking" things gets a real-world spin with this prototype out of Deeplocal. "Like Belt" uses near-field communication technology to register "likes" when you are walking around. You just have to do a bit of thrusting.

An NFC-enabled phone is attached to the belt, and it recognizes chips embedded in objects so when you thrust your hips at something, it will register a "like." As Wiredsays, it could have potential use in dating (although we don't know how well we would take somebody thrusting at us to tell us he likes us) or in location-based marketing to check in to places.
