At #9 in Social, while the business and entertainment worlds were buzzing about Apple's acquisition of Beats Electronics, restaurant chain Denny's got in on the action with what was arguably the funniest Tweet of the year.

Following the news that Apple had finalized the deal to buy headphones and music-streaming company Beats Electronic for $3 billion Wednesday, Denny's Diner had a Twitter hit on its hands with a tongue-in-cheek twist on what news outlets everywhere were reporting. As one person replied on Twitter, we "LOL'd."
