Diakonie: Help the Oma Case Study

Grannies go undercover.

Saatchi & Saatchi Frankfurt sent three grannies undercover, in an attempt to recruit more volunteers for charitable organization Diakonie Frankfurt. The elderly women were dispatched onto the streets of Germany, where they placed themselves in compromising positions that called for the help of passersby. Hidden cameras filmed those who came to their aid. The footage was featured on the campaign website, which saluted those who heeded the rescue calls, explained the Diakonie's mission and provided applications for volunteer work.
