First Rob Lowe, Tony Romo and Eli Manning got in front of the camera for DirecTV. Now, Randy Moss appears beside a lesser version of himself in latest outing for the television service's campaign through Grey New York.
In this spot, a petite version of Moss misses games because he has cable, while the regular-sized Moss enjoys his favorite teams with DirecTV's "NFL Sunday Ticket." Moss, who played for the New England Patriots, the Tennessee Titans, the Minnesota Vikings and others, can now keep up with all his teams thanks to the service.
Previous spots got DirecTV in trouble with the Better Business Bureau's National Advertising Division, but that didn't stop the brand from doing another take on the "cool/uncool" comparison between celebrities and alternate versions of themselves (mocking cable and cable customers in the process).
