DIY.org: Build Make Hack Grow

A really foxy creator.

Editor's Pick

Ghost Robot directing duo Encyclopedia Pictura, aka Isaiah Saxon and Daren Rabinovitch, the minds behind Bjork's dazzling 3D music video Wanderlust from a few years back, have created this whimsical new film to promote DIY.org, the skills-building site that they launched last year with Vimeo co-founder Zach Klein.

Encyclopedia Pictura had met Klein at a conference years ago and hit it off, leading to this new platform that encourages kids to learn a variety of skills, from baking and building to gardening and cartography. This uplifting anthem film seems to take inspiration from Wes Anderson's screen adaptation of Roald Dahl's Fantastic Mr. Fox, and tells the tale of a curious boy who transforms into a skilled make-master.
