Finnish Mobile Brand DNA Films Real-Time Ad In Couple's Home As They Sit In Cinema

Finnish mobile brand DNA is trying to stand out from the crowd this Christmas with a campaign that lets people give not-so-subtle hints to their partners on what to get them as a gift. The brand is encouraging people to visit its website, pick a media of their choosing and a mobile device they would want and then gather "likes" for their wish. The ones with the most likes will get their message on billboards, TV ads, banners, DNA's Facebook page, painted posters on even sung by a choir.

The campaign, by Hasan & Partners Helsinki, kicked off with an out-of-home stunt, seen here, in which a woman who wanted a new iPad Air from her husband gives him a big hint -- via a cinema ad streamed live from their home in real-time. A character featured in earlier DNA commercials delivered her wish to the couple from their own living room, as they sat in the movie theater preparing to watch a film.
