Dodge Takes the Dodge Brothers Back to Boyhood in Stylish, Jazz-Era Spots

Adrien Brody Directs Latest Spots Promoting Brand's Rebellious Heritage

Editor's Pick

Dodge continues its campaign celebrating and romanticizing its founders, brothers John and Horace Dodge, with four new spots going back to their roots as inventive teens in 19th century Detroit.

Oscar-winning actor Adrien Brody helmed the spots, for Wieden & Kennedy Portland. Together, they bring a stylish, jazz era touch to the production of the lead spot, reminiscent of films like "Bugsy Malone," as we see the mischievous brothers taking a look at a boy's bicycle, then setting out to build a better one.

Another spot, promoting the Dodge Durango's availability with Beats Audio, features the brothers when older, showing them upsetting Detroit's elite society at the country club. Further short spots, all encapsulating the brothers' mischievous spirit, have fun with old vs new Dodge cars, and sending a message with headlights in Morse Code.
