Suffering From Emoji Illiteracy? Domino's Can Help

Website and Flashcards Come to the Rescue of Non-Millennials

In a Cannes Titanium Grand Prix-winning move, Domino's recently allowed customers to order by emoji -- but it hasn't forgotten those members of its target audience for whom emojis are an unfathomable language used by people under 30.

Domino's estimates that around 40 per cent of Americans don't understand emojis, so the brand and agency Crispin Porter & Bogusky have helpfully created a website at emojiliteracy.com to explain to non-Millennials just what all those signs and symbols mean.

As well as finally enabling people to communicate with their kids (as explained in this hilarious tongue-in-cheek PSA) it includes a downloadable set of emoji flashcards that users can print out to make their own deck at home.
