Filmed in stunning landscapes, this ad centers on a man wondering aloud what it would be like if he were such animals as a seal, bat, eagle or a polar bear, and adopting the kind of poses we associate with those animals. It's only at the end that it's revealed he is fact suffering from a very rare disease -- and makes the point that, unlike rare animals, rare humans often get ignored.

This beautiful spot from Italy was made by biopharmaceutical research company Dompe in association with the Italian Federation for Rare Diseases, to raise awareness for World Rare Disease Day on Feb. 28. Created by Saatchi & Saatchi Italy and directed by Roberto Saku Cinardi, the ad is being launched online today alongside a social hashtag, #ICareAboutRare.
