With the launch of Doritos' Collisions line, which combines two flavors in one chip, AMV BBDO has launched a U.K.-based online/offline campaign that turns the product's four assorted flavors into battling mascots.

The homepage introduces us to the characters including El Zesto (representing the Zesty Salsa flavor), Feathered Fury (Chicken Sizzler flavor), Tenacious T (T-Bone Steak) and The Griller (Grilled Pepper). Each mascot comes with their own fighting stats, back story and live action video montages that capture their training.

The site ties into actual live battles in a ring between the mascots, the first of which took place on August 7th at the Se1 club in London. This will culminate into a six-city tour across the U.K. The Collisions campaign also has a social networking component with a destination hosted by Bebo that lets you check out various videos featuring the fighters as well as photo galleries. You can also visit the MyApps section to download wallpapers and a Collisions mascot badge to stick on your Bebo profile, or play a training game with your favorite character to improve their strength and get them in fighting shape.
