Dove's Father's Day Ad Features Real-Life 'Hero' Dads

Another Heartwarming Spot Features Footage of Father-Child Moments

Editor's Pick

Last year, Dove's Father's Day Ad promoting Dove Men+ Care used real-life footage of men finding out on camera that they're going to become fathers. The brand continues with the creative approach this year by finding, and using (with the subjects' permission) real online video footage of dads and their kids enjoying some amazing father-child moments.

Some of the more amazing ones include one father, Jared Edmunds, pushing his disabled son around a skate park; Will Pemble, who built a rollercoaster in his backyard; and another dad pictured surfing with a small daughter on his back. But some of the more "ordinary" ones -- like a father grabbing his baby out of the way of an incoming wave, or a father dancing with his daughter at her wedding -- are just as heartwarming. The tagline of the ad, which was created by Davie Brown's production company The Marketing Arm, is that "Dads are the real heroes" and Dove is asking people to share the film online with the "hero" in their life.
