For a meager price of $300, those who can no longer deal with the potentially dangerous, dust-collecting blades of their traditional home fans can enjoy the cooling comfort of Dyson's latest invention, the Air Multiplier.

The Multiplier appears to be a bladeless fan, but actually does utilize blades concealed in its cylindrical base. Airflow is drawn in and then redistributed and amplified through the top loop portion of the device. The result is a stronger and unbuffeted output— "119 gallons of smooth and uninterrupted air every second," according to the Dyson release.
