More Mass Effect promotions out of Electronic Arts. The company sent six copies of the much awaited game into "space" via balloon. Fans are able to track the discs through a GPS tracker on the Web site and grab them when they land. Five of the six copies have already been grabbed, except for San Francisco.
Funnily enough, things haven't gone quite as planned, with two copies launched in the Pacific Northwest getting stuck in trees. The company had to ask fans not to climb up to retrieve them, for legal and safety reasons. While "space" is no big deal for ME3, trees might be too much for it to handle.
