Illustrator Elliott Quince Created Cover For easyJet's InFlight Magazine

Could this be the first magazine cover created out of plasticine? Artist Elliott Quince has created the January cover for easyJet Traveller, the in-flight publication of UK low cost airline easyJet.

Accordng to Creative Review, Quince began by sketching his design in pencil and adding a bevel in Photoshop. He then created a model twice the size of the magazine, which allowed him to easily manipulate the plasticine figures. The finished product features plasticine hieroglyphics, figures and ocean creatures, to illustrate the magazine's story on diving and yoga holidays in Egypt .The project was commissioined by the magazine's art director Matt Wiggins on the back of Quince's Plasticine Tatooine ---- a book featuring plasticine illustrations of Star Wars characters.
