Editor's Pick

Elizabeth Lo's documentary filmed on an overnight bus in Silicon Valley featured in this year's Saatchi New Directors Showcase in Cannes. Line 22 is a bus route that runs 24 hours between San Jose and Palo Alto. Lo discovered that the bus has become almost a shelter for the homeless, whose lives are in stark contrast to the rich and successful of Silicon Valley. This powerful, understated film (made in collaboration with the New York Times) takes the viewer into their world, exposing the prejudice and racism that they face as well as hostility from ordinary commuters.
