Watch a Trailer for a Horror Movie Set in the Happiest Place on Earth

Will Disneyland Respond to 'Escape From Tomorrow'?

As anyone with a fear of clowns knows, there's something creepy about things that are too happy. Chalk it down to cynicism, but Disneyland seems like the perfect place to shoot a horror movie, and that's exactly what indie director Randy Moore has done with "Escape from Tomorrow," a film that was shot without permission inside Disneyland and Disneyworld, and includes cameos from Disney's characters doing creepy things like killing children. Even the poster features the movie's title in Disney's characteristic cursive font (complete with an image of Mickey's bloody paw).

The movie premiered at Sundance Film Festival in January and opens in theaters in October. So far, Disney hasn't said anything about the film -- and as The Hollywood Reporter points out, might not ever, since that would just draw more attention to it.
