A Clingy Lover Just Won't Let Go in Fabich's Hilarious Music Video

A woman dumps her boyfriend but he just can't let go in a new music video by Fabich, directed by Caviar's Ollie Wolf. That's literally -- he grips her ankle and lets himself be dragged around by her wherever she goes.

The boyfriend, played with a series of excruciating expressions by Ed Coleman, clings on to her as she goes to work, eats her lunch, works out in the gym, swims in the pool and even goes to the toilet. If you think that's icky, wait till she goes out on a date, has sex with her new man, gets engaged and then married. All the time the ex is there clinging on, even downing a glass of wine along with them on their date. If you're wondering where this can go, hang in there for the twist in the ending, which arrives "twenty two and a half days later."

Wolf, who has also worked with artists such as Boston Bun, Josef Salvat and Nao, commented in a statement: "I think most people have had relationships that they have struggled to let go of. So, I was intrigued to explore a hyperbolic version of that for 'Hold On.' The absurdity of an ex literally not letting go made me laugh. And it was a super simple idea I knew we could have fun with."

The artist, Fabich, is a London-based producer who recently signed as a solo artist to Island Records, and "Hold On," filmed in East London, features vocals from Josh Barry, who recently won Glastonbury's Emerging Talent 2017.
