The Corner Office Takes on a Whole New Meaning in Funny Work From Fedex

Randy Krallman Directs Latest Spots Via BBDO New York

Editor's Pick

FedEx's ongoing campaign showing how its services benefit small businesses is back with more comedic ads by BBDO New York.

Like previous spots, the new additions, promoting FedEx Ground, bring ideas from the world of big business into a small business environment. In one spot, seen here, a woman running her business from home shows her employee into his new corner office -- her son's bedroom.

Another ad is set in a bookstore called Conspiracy Books, where the paranoid owner is convinced there must be a sinister explanation from the business's improved sales (rather than her colleague's prosaic explanation of FedEx). A third spot sees a disgruntled colleague asking for his shares to be bought out, as the startup they're working on is not making a profit. He gets tossed a handful of coins, then asks to come back in after it's pointed out that using FedEx could turn things around -- but their valuation has doubled and he has to reach for a bank note.

Randy Krallman directed the spots, via Smuggler.
