A Small Business Addresses Its Passive Aggressive Work Culture in FedEx's Latest Spot

FedEx is back with more funny ads in its series illustrating how the delivery service benefits small businesses, with unexpected consequences.

In one of the two new spots, created by BBDO New York and slickly directed by Jim Jenkins at O Positive, a small company's employees are having a team meeting. One mentions that since FedEx has helped simplify their e-commerce, they can now concentrate on addressing their "passive aggressive" work culture. The whole team immediately launches into a huge back and forth of backhanded comments to each other -- and when a client puts his head round the door to say they're doing a great job, they wonder "what's that supposed to mean?"

Another spot sees the owners of a novelty gift shop musing on how their goofy glasses are selling all around the world -- even in New Zealand, it seems, where deer are using them to disguise themselves from hunters.
