New Year's babies get a very special shout out in Fisher-Price's "Wishes for Baby" campaign -- the company's first official creative since launching its "Best Possible Start" marketing push in the fall. The American toymaker enlisted documentary filmmaker Patrick Creadon and his team to gather footage of parents meeting their bundles of joy at eleven hospitals across the globe -- from Boston to Tokyo. They all whisper words of welcome as their little ones (and their squeaky clean slates) enter the world.
Over New Year's Day, the film was then cut to 90-, 60- and 30-second spots that are running as paid media on Youtube, Facebook and Twitter. A #WishesForBaby social media effort hosts the ongoing conversation and promotes the ads on Instagram and Pinterest as well.
