Editor's Pick

The Flower Council of Holland is a seasoned pro when it comes to Valentine's stunts. Last year, agency Kingsday delivered red roses via drones. The previous year, it placed flowers in glass emergency boxes all over Paris. So what would it come up with for 2016? The answer is flirting via Periscope.

As seen in this trailer, the idea is to send a modern-day Cupid out into the streets of Paris and Berlin, equipped with a high-tech bow fitted with an embedded camera and smartphone. On Feb. 14, he'll use Periscope to stream live video of real people on the streets. People from all over the world can log onto Periscope and look for @CommandCupid. If they see someone they like, they can command Cupid to give that person a rose that includes their Periscope name, in case the stranger wants to take it further.
