Foot Locker's second spot in its "short memory"-themed campaign through BBDO features L.A. Galaxy star Landon Donovan, who seems to have conveniently forgotten being left off the U.S. World Cup soccer team this summer. The ad is a sequel to the previous spot featuring James Harden, Charles Barkley and Scottie Pippin, which kicked off Foot Locker's Back-to-School campaign last week.

Donovan's exclusion from the team seems to have served him well, commercial-wise. He also played on his absence from Brazil in this EA Sports spot, which ran during the tournament. In both, he shows he has a sense of humor about himself, plus he's not a bad actor -- does a future career move beckon?
