Racetrack Becomes Zoetrope in New Campaign for Forza Motorsport 5

Twofifteen McCann Puts Camera in Speeding Car to Shoot New Ad

Now here's one complicated way to make a movie. To promote the launch of Xbox racing title Forza Motorsport 5, Twofifteen McCann transformed a race track into a gigantic zoetrope to film its new commercial "Filmspeed." The agency placed six-hundred still images from the actual game around the track's perimeter and then shot it via a technique that lives up to the game's name -- from the window of a McClaren 12C, racing at 120mph and driven by award-winning racer Tanner Foust. Automotive vet Jeff Zwart of @Radical.media was in the director's chair to help capture the stunt.

Check out behind the scenes footage of the high-speed camera car and the "Math Behind the Project" on Youtube.
