AKQA and the Cannes Lions are kicking off the sixth annual Future Lions, a global competition recognizing the best student work.
The Future Lions site is live, but will start percolating on Wednesday, when the call for entries goes out.
Since the contest launched in 2006, organizers have commissioned an artist to create a poster for the event. This year, AKQA tapped U.K.-based illustrator Nik Ainley. His poster is seen here.
The annual contest challenges students to develop ideas for brands "that would not have been possible five years ago." Winners are showcased at the Cannes fest.
