On Thursday, the FX show "Louie" took over New York Magazine's Vulture.com with a native ad that recreated the site's landing page to feature only content related to the show. FX tapped New York's team to create the native ad, designed to promote the "Louie" season five premiere.
It linked to six pieces of branded content, including a child-rearing cheat sheet, courtesy of Louie C.K., as well as an infographic that showed how he's linked to different celebrities and comedians. All the articles were labeled "Sponsor Story."
