Agency Alma's Senior Copywriter Gabriel Ferrer is an admitted fan of Kanye West. But even he had enough of the crazy after the musician turned to the general public (and billionaires like Mark Zuckerberg) to help him with his $53 million in debt.

So Mr. Ferrer decided to try to divert all the energy and funds that West is attempting to appropriate for his seemingly quixotic quests and channel them to a more worthy cause -- those in need in Kenya.

He's created HelpKenyaNotKanye.com, which enlightens visitors about those whose situations are perhaps a little more dire than Mr. West's, such as hunted wildlife or underprivileged school kids. There, they'll be able to donate the $25 that might have gone to West's album to help provide drinking water to a Kenyan citizen. For the price of a Kanye single, they could "shingle" a roof over someone's head, or for the $700 someone could pay for a Yeezy line sweatshirt, they can feed an entire school of 200 malnourished orphans.

"Kanye West has been making a fool of himself more than usual," Mr. Ferrer said in a statement. "As a huge fan of his work, it became hard to defend him. I woke up one morning thinking that maybe I shouldn't. Maybe I should intercept the conversation for a good cause. I really don't mean Kanye any disrespect. On the contrary, I hope he comes to his senses and keeps making amazing music."
