Earlier this year, The Guardian reported that ministers in the U.K. were considering launching an ad campaign in Bulgaria and Romania that showed how bad life in Britain was, part of a negative ad campaign to keep immigrants away
Romania -- and newspaper Gandul -- decide to get back at that plan with "Why Don't You Come Over?" a site that asks Britons to head over to their fair country to work or travel. Features on the site include info on visas and jobs, assistance in finding a couch, and an option for Romanians to put their couch/bedrooms up for rent. The campaign also included print and outdoor ads like the one seen above.
