High School Students Perform 'The Best is Yet to Come' With Tony Bennett, for Gap

Retailer's Holiday Campaign Focuses on 'Making Love'

Gap introduces "Make Love," the retailer's feel-good, heartwarming holiday campaign that features, among other things, a series of films featuring students performing the iconic hit, "The Best is Yet to Come," with legendary singer Tony Bennett. The 87-year-old star is a long time supporter of arts education, and with his wife Susan Benedetto, has created "Exploring the Arts," which supports arts education in high schools in New York and L.A. The students featured in the films are all beneficiaries of the program.

Previously, the retailer had introduced "Back to Blue," Gap's first TV push in seven years, which featured the scions of musical greats Billy Joel and George Harrison, in performance. This Xmas campaign is an extension of "Back to Blue," and according to Gap's global CMO Seth Farbman in a statement, is about "giving love through action, whether it's a service to others or a gift that's a representation of love."

The campaign will include appearances from other artists like Cyndi Lauper and Billy Porter, and activists like Alexandra and Philippe Cousteau, as well as Connie Britton and her son, Yoby, all dressed in Gap clothing, telling their own unique stories of love.
