The PepsiCo sports drink's new packaging pares down its name to simply "G." The spot "What's G?" narrated by rapper Lil Wayne supports the shift.

The low-calorie offering, Gatorade 2, is similarly rendered G2, while flavor names like Fierce and A.M. are reinterpreted as "Bring It" and "Shine On" respectively. Other PepsiCo brands, like Pepsi, Mountain Dew and Tropicana, have also seen package redesigns in recent months.
