As the U.S. Open commences, Gatorade is getting behind Serena Williams with an ad featuring real footage that shows her journey all the way from young girl to the superstar she is today. The ad, by TBWA/Chiat/Day L.A., starts with an interview in which she is asked "If you were a "tennis player, who would you want to be like?"

Additionally, Gatorade has commissioned artists from around the world to create 21 pieces of art that celebrate each of Ms. Williams's Grand Slams. Titled "Serena 21," the 21 pieces of art were hand painted on a 13' x 90' outdoor wall in Williamsburg, Brooklyn earlier this week. Each piece visually highlights a backstory to one of her Grand Slam victories.
