GE: Be the next GE Instagrapher

GE is launching 'Be the Next GE Instagrapher', an online photo contest using Instagram, to promote both its innovations and its Instagram feed that showcases them. The contest, created by Mekanism, New York, invites consumers to take Instagram photos inspired by the 'four ways that GE works in the world' - moving, curing, powering and building - then submit them using the hashtag #GEinspiredme to have them displayed in a Facebook Gallery. Fans that 'like' GE on Facebook can then vote for their favorite images and one winner will receive a trip to a GE jet-engine facility in the UK to shoot photos for GE's Instagram feed.
