General Electric: Power and Beer -- Super Bowl XLVI

Feeling good about GE.

Published on

Editor's Pick

General Electric enters the Super Bowl and that feeling you're getting is your buzzy, Go Daddy-filled headache finally quieting down. The company will air two ads on Game Day, and they're good, sober and solid. The spots, created out of BBDO, show how the work of GE employees leads to products that everybody uses in real life. For example, "Power and Beer" speaks of the company's role in powering the breweries that create Budweiser, while "Building Something Big" talks about the GE Appliance Park.

The idea is to build up the company's image with this campaign, which is just the beginning of a larger drive that will include a digital element.
