Two Minute Spot Kicks off 'Language of Industry' Campaign

GE is kicking off a fall campaign centered around the "language of Industry" slogan with this heartwarming two minute spot about a "boy who beeps." In the spot, which breaks tonight during the opening game of "NFL Thursday Night Football," a baby is born and communicates by beeping. As the story unfolds, he grows up into a ridiculously cute kid, and learns how to manipulate machines with his beeps -- changing the channel on the TV, moving toy cars, even changing traffic lights. Other kids laugh at him (all except one little girl who's impressed) but once he's discovered, he's suddenly famous and in-demand. The spot, by BBDO New York, ends with the line "When you speak the language of industry, the conversation can change the world."
