GM heads up to the future.

Editor's Pick

GM is working with scientists from USC and Carnegie Mellon to develop an augmented reality windshield that will help to give drivers a heads up on unfavorable driving conditions and potential obstacles in the road. The Heads Up Display features specially coated windshield glass that glows red and blue, with sensors that help to alert them of cars in their blindspot, roadside animals and other surrounding objects. The system is also equipped with eadtracking that can pinpoint the driver's line of sight.
